The car passed it SVA first time in June 2004. Since then a few changes have been made, modifications made and some features changed. Here is a list, which I hope will help to describe the car in its present form.
2 L Ford Pinto OHC engine, fully recon by Tiger, Kent FR32 cam, distributor modified advance re Dave Andrews site, 38DGV carb, ITG air filter. Vernier cam pulley, cam timing very accurately set up.
Hinged nose cone to enable easy access to front of engine. Full pedal box cover made of GRP. No bolts used on cycle wings, glassed into position. New chrome front indicators to match headlights. Original trailer back lights never used, Lucas glass lights used instead.
After SVA Sabelt 4 point harnesses installed. Adjustable drivers seat (and matching passenger seat). Electronic Tiger speedo, and matching rev counter, oil, temp and fuel gauges. Audible indicator warning (switchable). Ignition isolator switch. 12v power isolator switch. 2 speed wipers. 10inch leather steering wheel for extra legroom. Full weather gear including side screens. Fully adjustable Spax rear dampers.
The car has full documentation and is MOT until July 2008. It’s never had any problems at MOT, or recommendations. It has completed about 2400 miles since the build.

 | 5th Mar 2003 | 1 Early stages of construction
The chassis was painted, and the fitted with brake and fuel pipes. The aluminium panels were then cut and pop riveted into place. Then items such as the steering rack, suspension and brakes could be fitted.
|
 | 6th Mar 2003 | 2 Bodywork
This covers aluminium panels and glass fibre external panels. None of the glass fibre fitted very well. It took lots of work to get it all to fit.
|
 | 7th Mar 2003 to 6th Mar 2003 | 3 Fuel tank
This is how I fitted the fuel tank. Its held down by six 6mm studs, and won't ever move!
|
 | 8th Mar 2003 to 6th Mar 2003 | 4 Engine installation
A few pictures taken after the engine was dropped in.
|
 | 9th Mar 2003 | 5 Remote gear change
This is my version of the Tiger job. Its very smooth, has no slop and cost a couple of quid for steel. Lots of careful work to get it right though.
|
 | 10th Mar 2003 | 6 Cabin
Various pictures taken of the cabin of the car.
|
 | 11th Mar 2003 | 7 Under the dash
Shots taken at different stages of building up the dash.
|
 | 12th Mar 2003 | 8 Electronic speedo
Here is the speedo sensor and disc on the dif flange.
|
 | 13th Mar 2003 | 9 Hand brake and brake pipes
Shows my handbrake system and brake pipes at the rear of parcel shelf. Also shows the compensator valve.
|
 | 14th Mar 2003 | 10 Pedal box cover
This covers the top of the brackets that hold the pedals in place. Without this the heat from the engine comes down onto your legs.
|
 | 15th Mar 2003 | 11 Windscreen and uprights
Fitting the windscreen. Best of luck bending the uprights! Polish the ally with very fine 'wet and dry' paper, using lots of soap and water. Then finish with metal polish. The result is great.

 | 16th Mar 2003 | 12 Nearly ready for SVA
Its nearly ready for SVA. Here are my two sons giving it a test drive up and down the road.
|
 | 17th Mar 2003 | 13 SVA preparation
Before you take your pride and joy to see the SVA man, a few things have to be done, and done right. Get it right and he will give you a MAC. My car passed first time, so these photos show what I did prior to inspection. This assumes that you have all the mechanical aspects covered during the build. I took my car for an MOT before the SVA. This made sure that it would pass emissions amd brake tests, and find any other sillys that I had overlooked. I also had the lights focused at the same time. They only found a few nuts and bolts that I had not tightened up enough. I would recommend you do the same.

 | 18th Mar 2003 | 14 C456PNJ on the road
Here she is on the road. These were taken last year (2005). Over the winter I have spent some time making a few changes to the engine. I have changed the carb, from the tidily 32/34 dmtl to a 38dgv. I got lucky and bought an almost new carb, absolutely mint, apart from the choke being removed for £35 on ebay. This needed a different manifold, £10 ebay again. This was ground out to match the head for better gas flow. I have jetted as specified on many build sites and seems fine so far. I have fitted a vernier belt wheel to the kent fr32 cam, bought a dial indicator,(all ebay) and timed the cam exactly to the book. I have stripped the distributor and changed the springs for better advance curve, as per Dave Andrews site. So far the result is spectacular. I frightened myself on the first test drive, almost lost the back end powering out of a bend on a damp road. I would like to build some proper side doors, something like I've seen on a Razor. Something to think about this year (2006) Ill take pics if I get this far.

 | 6th Oct 2006 | Hood and side screens
Just a few pictures of the hood and side screens. You will see the extra inside frame to stop the hood from sagging in the middle. This gives a little extra head height and greatly improves the appearence.

 | 21st Oct 2008 | New owner takes her to Spa
Andrew Gresswell has kindly let me show some of the pictures taken of the car a Spa and Nürburgring 2008. I am very glad that she is being used, pushed to the limit and enjoyed by her new owner
